Beast Slayer Kickstarter Pre-Launch!

Hello, hello, hello! Beast Slayer is now live on Kickstarter for pre-launch! This is very exciting news for Skyward Games! I am looking at a launch date of July 1st 2026 and I’m planning a 21 day campaign.

With this Kickstarter I hope to do a second batch run of Beast Slayer which while on Kickstarter will be at a slightly lower price than it normally would be. I will also be introducing the Lair of the Minotaur module. This will be the first official module of the tabletop rpg.

Digital and physical editions will be available on the Kickstarter. A map pack digital add on will also be available, featuring maps from the Lair of the Minotaur module. I’m setting a goal of $800 which should be a reasonable one to achieve.

It was a bit of a learning experience starting this process. I ended up looking up stuff and writing, and rewriting certain parts of the page. I found it easier than I thought I would which is a plus.

I should also introduce the new cover for the Lair of the Minotaur!

I’m extremely proud of the artist I’ve been working with. Joze Groselj is a fantastic artist and I hope to work with him on future projects. He took my vision and brought it to life.

The cover gives an old school feel while still remaining fresh. The red lettering pops in the title and the character art blew my mind when I first saw it. I can’t wait for this to go live so I can get it into the hands of those who are interested in playing Beast Slayer for the first or hundredth time.

Keep an eye out for more updates! I should be posting day of launch sometime and I’ll try to keep regular updates as this process goes along. This is a new and exciting experience for me, and I hope this takes off so I can keep pushing out more modules!
