For someone new to this type of game this was something I didn’t know what to expect. I’ll probably pick up a few more solo games like this to see if this is the type of game for me but this is a great starter game for those new to Tabletop RPGs!

I had a great one-shot with some friends from out of town with this! I did very little prep-work as the DM aside from reading through the booklet. We had a few homebrew modifications, but the system is pretty flexible and very easy to pick up (one of the party members was fairly new to tabletop gaming and wasn’t any more lost than the rest of us)! By engineering the BBEG like it was a player optimizing their equipment and stats, then giving it the ability to summon adds, I was able to create a suspenseful final battle everyone enjoyed, where most players got hurt but none were downed. Would use again!
